We passed a proposal that would provide real relief to the lower paid title as well as containing the costs to the higher paid titles.\u00a0<b><u>We designed this to be cost neutral to the company<\/u><\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>We aren\u2019t even asking for more. We are only asking to maintain our current level of coverage while maintaining the same cost structure to our members.<\/p>\n<p>We passed the proposal late this morning. The Company rejected our proposal less than 3 hours later. We are outraged that the company gave so little consideration to such an important benefit to our membership.<\/p>\n<p>After the Company rejected our proposals for DTV and the USVI to be part of Article 43, the company passed proposals today to carry forward the following with no changes:<\/p>\n<p>Appendix A \u2013 DTV<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Section 2 \u2013 Classification of Employees<\/li>\n<li>Section 3 \u2013 Seniority<\/li>\n<li>Section 4 \u2013 Company-Union Relations<\/li>\n<li>Section 5 \u2013 Time Off<\/li>\n<li>Section 6 \u2013 Working Conditions<\/li>\n<li>Section 8 \u2013 Force Adjustment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>USVI Addendum<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Article B \u2013 Definitions<\/li>\n<li>Article C \u2013 Union Business<\/li>\n<li>Article D \u2013 Grievance Procedure<\/li>\n<li>Article E \u2013 Arbitration<\/li>\n<li>Article G \u2013 Travel<\/li>\n<li>Article H \u2013 Absence<\/li>\n<li>Article I \u2013 Paid Time Off<\/li>\n<li>Article K \u2013 No Strike\/No Lockout<\/li>\n<li>Article L \u2013 Management Rights<\/li>\n<li>Article N \u2013 Discipline<\/li>\n<li>Article O \u2013 Hours of Work<\/li>\n<li>Article P \u2013 Contracting Out<\/li>\n<li>Article Q \u2013 Non-Discrimination<\/li>\n<li>Staffing \u2013 ATS Transfer System (ATS)<\/li>\n<li>Article M \u2013 Safety \u2013 Local Safety Committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><u>Remember, the company\u2019s net profit in 2017 was 29.3 billion dollars.
